NEW YORK – The phone with the highest rate of satisfaction have at least one thing in common: they are huge.
The top three smartphones based on the Index of American Consumer Satisfaction, an independent national study, they all have a screen of 5.5 inches or more.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4, 5.7-inch, ranked first on the list this year with a score of 86 out of 100. In other words, 86 Samsung Galaxy Note buyers said they were satisfied with their phones.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the Apple iPhone 6 Plus (5.5 inch screen), the Samsung Galaxy S5 (5.1 screen) and the iPhone 6 (4.7) each won 82 of 100 on the scale, taking second place in the ranking. The Samsung Galaxy S6 (screen 5.1) was not for sale at the time the study was conducted.
The cellular customer satisfaction has remained stable over the years, with Samsung and Apple users reporting the most satisfaction.
In general, Apple has had more models in the top 20, while Samsung has had more teams in the top 10.
Most surprising, however, is that satisfaction Blackberry buyers increased by 5% each year, placing it as the fourth brand of cell phones in the United States in 2015.
But keep in mind that the index of US consumer satisfaction is not a telephone survey on what consumers would like to have. This survey asks users how happy they are with their current phones. About 70,000 people were included in the study.
“The highly anticipated and award-winning redesign of the iconic Apple iPhone may have set new records, but the new models do not seem to have gained any advantage over smartphones flagship Samsung when it comes to customer satisfaction” , the study authors wrote.
