Perhaps the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 closely resembles the Galaxy S7 Edge, but also has lots of new features and refinements that make it really be a different cell, not just a bigger one.
One of these new features is their way of saving battery not only reduces processing apps in the background, but now also reduces the resolution of the screen.
the QHD (1440p) screen is really beautiful, offering vibrant colors and more detail than we can usually detect with our eyes. However, this also makes the cell requires more energy to light all those pixels and the GPU has to work harder to render the content.
with the new function Galaxy Note 7 integrated mode saving battery Android, users can reduce the screen resolution to Full HD (1080p) or HD (720p) to further extend battery life.
The Galaxy Note 7 offers three levels of battery saving: off, medium and maximum. The average level reduces the resolution of QHD screen Full HD, while also reducing processing GPU and processor, as well as limiting the maximum brightness. Meanwhile, the highest level reduces the resolution of the HD screen, turn off animations and connections and further reduces processing GPU and processor. The latter is the one that promises to extend the battery life, but also limits the features offered by the Android phone.
Samsung also took a step further to allow users to customize these and other options allowing the battery life is extended without necessarily sacrificing what could be more important.
we do not know for sure how well these new modes battery saving function, as we were unable try in detail. However, stay tuned to our full analysis of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be publishing in the coming weeks.
