L Android 5.0 OTA Update and Download: Update … – Latinos Post in Spanish

The Android 5.0 Update Lollipop currently being released for the Galaxy S5 in selected countries, reported Gotta Be Mobile. Previously, we mentioned an anonymous representative (via Reddit) who revealed the intention of Samsung to launch Lollipop for your devices.

After the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy Note 4 , Edge Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 will receive the SO, respectively.

However, users of the Galaxy Note 3 seem to have an advantage when, thanks to a filtered version of Lollipop in the XDA forum -Developers. Since there is guaranteed to be official, are encouraged stakeholders to be cautious if they try to install it.

This version is made specifically for the model SM-N9005 of GN3 said the International Business Times. According to Android Community, filtration supposedly came from a software package “N9505XXUGBNL8.” Take 1.1GB of space and time, most of the features work.

A short tutorial on how to flash was written by mithun46 on the XDA forum. In addition to the version and exact model of GN3, Odin (3.09) for PC and file backup PIT will be needed for the process. The latter, as imagiar could, serves as a safeguard in case of any negative incident

Below are the steps to install the GN3 Lollipop (via IBT).

1. Download the firmware here. Extract the ROM .zip file.

2. Download Odin v3.09 if you have not already. Extract the .zip file.

3. Odin3 v3.09 Run as Administrator.

4. Restart your GN3 (Download mode). Do this by (1) press and (2) hold three buttons: Volume Down Power and Home

5.. . Appears message

6. Press Volume Up to enter Download Mode.

7. Connect device to PC (via USB cable).

8. Open the Odin window and mark specific fields, as shown here (32GB model) and here (16GB model).

9. Press “Start” in Odin to start the flashing process.

10. The process ends when a message “PASS!” on the port ID. COM

11. The device automatically restarts.

12. IBT suggests that the device can be disconnected after the Samsung logo appears.

13. Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 now runs Android 5.0 Lollipop N9005XXUGBNL8.

Flashing unofficial versions is a very technical process, and always encourage stakeholders to wait for the OTA updates. If you want to proceed, Latinos Post is not responsible for any incident that may arise from such an attempt. Again, supports files is always recommended.
