Samsung announced that it will disable its smart phone Galaxy Note 7 to force users to stop using and achieve out completely from the u.s. market, after safety problems emerged.
The giant electronic of South Korea, the largest seller of smartphones in the world, said that 93% of the Galaxy Note 7 in the united States has been returned to the company, after the signature of out of circulation earlier this year due to the risk of explosion or fire.
But to remove the last cell that are in use, the company will launch a system update that will prevent reloading them.
"To increase the participation (in the collection), it will release a software update as of December 19, which will recharge the Galaxy Note 7 of united States and eliminate its ability to function as a mobile device," said Samsung in a statement.
