Samsung has done everything possible for users of a Galaxy Note 7 to return the terminal to be a risk: it has blocked the connection, has offered money and even is letting them rendered useless by an update. The operator Verizon refused to publish this patch, but the opinion has changed.
One of the operators of mobile telephony largest in the united States did not want to block the use of the terminal to those people who refuse to give it up, and according to them the reason had to do with security. "Samsung will release a update for the Galaxy Note 7 the next December 19, which will prevent the load of your battery and leave it unused. Verizon will not release this patch until the 5 of January of 2017, because we want to make sure that anyone can contact to their relatives or to the authorities in case of an emergency during these holidays and holiday season.

What is not clear is whether they will be able to use it in case of an emergency when the terminal to catch fire.
