Galaxy Note 7 is prohibited on all flights in the U.S. – CNET in Spanish

The troubled phone Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will no longer be able to jump on a plane in the U.S. with you … or even off.

The Friday Safety Administration Pipelines and Hazardous Materials (PHMSA, for its acronym in English), along with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA, for its acronym in English), reported the prohibition of the tabléfono Samsung on all flights from the united States, reported Bloomberg.

The news agency says that the ban forces the owners of a Galaxy Note 7 to not take on board the phone, it doesn’t matter if you turn off or put in Airplane mode before take-off. Prior to the final suspension to the presence of the Note 7 in the aircraft, users were still able to board a plane with the phone off.

The total blocking of the Galaxy Note 7 on flights in the united States reaches the end of a scandalous week for Samsung. The manufacturer of the phone stopped this week the production of the phone permanently, because from the beginning of September have been reported more than 100 cases in that the phone explodes.

Samsung has already reported that the debacle of the Note 7 will affect its operating profits at around US$ 3,000 million, a blow that will be reflected between the fourth quarter of 2016 and first quarter 2017.

In one way or another, Samsung wants to compensate the owners of a Galaxy Note 7. If users want to, they can obtain a credit of US$ 100 to be changed by another phone of high range of the firm; if they want a refund to move to another brand, consumers will receive$ 25.
