Samsung confirms ‘fit’ in the production of the Note 7 with new … – CNET in Spanish

Samsung has confirmed an “adjustment” in the production of the Galaxy Note 7 because the units of substitution of the original phone would also be presenting problems, as confirmed by the AP, which had access to a statement issued by the company from its headquarters in South Korea.

Previously the local agency Yonhap News had reported that Samsung had halted completely the production of the Note 7. A provider anonymous company told the agency that the shutdown was being carried out with the cooperation of the safety regulators of South Korea, China and USA.UU and included a factory in Vietnam in charge of global shipping.

In the statement to which he had access to AP, the company explained that the production programme was changed to “temporarily” with the aim of taking more measures to ensure the safety and quality of the new device. Samsung has not confirmed or denied the rumors prior to a total breakdown in its press release.

Samsung has not officially confirmed the plans to stop production of the Note 7, though on Sunday he said that he was “diligently working with authorities and experts” to investigate the problems with the Note replaced and “if we determine there is a problem with the safety of the devices, Samsung will take letters in the matter approved by the Commission of Safety of Consumer Products to resolve the situation.”

The weekend has been the deciding factor for Samsung in the U.S. on Saturday AT AT&T suspended the exchange program of the Galaxy Note 7 due to new reports of fire and T-Mobile did the same thing on Sunday.

AT&T explicitly said that it will continue to accept the Galaxy Note 7, but not the change to the new version and will encourage customers to choose other model of Samsung or any other brand.

“Based on the recent reports, we’re not going to change new Note 7, and pending further investigations on the reported incidents,” said Fletcher Cook, global vice president of media relations AT AT&T said in a statement. Samsung said that it “respected” the decision of the operator.

Sunday, T-Mobile became the second operator to suspend sales and the program to change the Note 7. John Legere, ceo of T-Mobile, said in a tweet: “In an excess of caution with our customers, T-Mobile is paralyzing sales and changes in the Note 7″.

This operator has asked its customers to stop using the Note 7, and to take him to one of their shops with accessories that can change it or get the money back. The company also said in a statement that its customers would receive a$ 25 credit on their monthly bills.
