The Galaxy Note 7 is becoming a real nightmare for Samsung.
The giant of electronic south Korean might have to withdraw for the second time the market with your Galaxy Note 7, something relatively rare, according to the news agency Bloomberg, which quotes two former officers of safety of consumer products in the U.S., The Federal Aviation Administration and the Commission of Consumer Product Safety are investigating if a Galaxy Note 7 replacement was on the phone fuming that forced them to evacuate a Southwest Airlines flight this Wednesday.
The second withdrawal from the market could be the death of the possibilities of the Note 7 in the market and put a stain on the credibility of Samsung. The incident of the first withdrawal from the market of the Galaxy Note 7 is already a brand on the prestige of Samsung because it happened just as Apple was preparing to introduce the iPhone 7.
The commission charged with the protection of the consumer “is moving quickly to investigate this incident,” said the chairman of the commission, Elliot Kaye in a statement (in English) related to the incident on the plane of the Southwest. He also said that it would recommend that the owners of a Galaxy Note 7 to shut off their phones, in addition to remember that it is possible to obtain a refund.
This Friday, there was not a representative of the commission available to comment on. Not a representative of Samsung, but the company has previously said that he wanted to wait to confirm that the device that fumed in the plane is effectively a Galaxy Note 7 replacement.
Sprint and T-Mobile have offered to the owners of the Note 7 a refund or exchange for another cell.
